🌟 Four "Don'ts" for Daily Wear
Gold-plated jewelry is highly sensitive to chemicals and friction. Remember this rule: it should be the last thing you put on before leaving the house and the first thing you take off when you return.

Avoid contact with chemicals: Perfume, hairspray, cosmetics, body lotion, and sunscreen can all accelerate the peeling of the gold plating. Please wait 10 minutes after applying these products before putting on your jewelry.

Remove before bathing or swimming: Chlorine in tap water, salt in seawater, and ingredients in body wash and shampoo are all enemies of the gold plating.

Remove during exercise or sauna sessions: Acidic substances (and sulfur) in sweat can cause the underlying brass to oxidize and darken, while also corroding the gold surface.

Do not wear while sleeping: Friction caused by tossing and turning during sleep can wear down the gold plating or even snap delicate chains.

📦 Proper Storage
Keep it dry: Ensure your jewelry is completely dry before storing it. You can place a small packet of moisture-absorbing silica gel in your jewelry box.

Store individually: Gold and brass are soft metals and can easily be scratched by other jewelry. Please store each piece separately in a sealed zip-lock bag, a velvet pouch, or a dedicated jewelry compartment.

Keep out of light: Avoid direct sunlight and high temperatures, as these can accelerate metal oxidation.

If you wear your jewelry daily, the gold plating will inevitably fade or reveal the underlying brass color after 1–2 years; this is normal wear and tear.

What if it darkens? If there is only slight oxidation or darkening, wiping it with a soft cloth dampened with a little warm water will usually restore its shine.
